Tryouts for 2016 will be held March 21-24.
Due to Saints Academy closing their location in Lakeville we needed to find a new location for tryouts this year. We have secured the field houses at St. Olaf College in Northfield for these dates.
The tryout session will last approximately 90 minutes.

FTBA and DCTC has given you a great opportunity to train this winter at the cages on the campus of DCTC. We are going to provide 3 hours of training every Wednesday night for 10 weeks starting on January 6th at no cost to any former/new FTBA player that is eligible to tryout for the 2016 season. Last year’s coaches will be manning the cages. We will also have the luxury of ADG Academy instructor Guye Senjem working with our coaches and hitters periodically during the winter sessions.
DCTC has 3 cages that we will be utilizing for 50 minute stretches every Wednesday night from 7-9:00pm and on Sunday nights from 5-7:00pm. This will allow us to have 30 hitters every hour (10 per cage).
We will use an online signup genius. We want to make this fair for everyone so we setup the following rules.
Coaches - there is a sign up for coaches as well please try to help as much as you can.
Any questions please contact Rod Frost at firstname.lastname@example.org.
DCTC Address - 1300 145th Street East, Rosemount, MN 55068.
Participants will need to fill out the FTBA waiver and bring it to the first clinic they are registered for. The waiver will cover the full 10 weeks.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Just because the white stuff has finally come doesn't mean you can't be working on improving your baseball skills. Now is the time to start working on all the aspects of baseball, ESPECIALLY your swing! Farmington Travel Baseball is dedicated to improving players throughout the season as well as during the offseason. FTBA has created the “Swing to Win Program” to encourage our players to work on their swing during the offseason. This program has been designed for you to get “Quality” swings in especially when you are at training facilities, camps, or even at home. There are also cool incentives for you to record and send in your training accomplishments! You can achieve your goals and get awesome awards when you meet each progressive swing level. Everything is laid out on our website (www.farmingtontravelbaseball.com) under the “Swing to Win” tab. We want to encourage all of you to start recording your swings! Be the swing leader of your team or maybe for entire FTBA! It’s all up to you. Let's see how many SWINGS you can get in before the season starts! Stay warm, swing often and GO TIGERS!!!
For questions contact our Swing to Win coordinator Scott Reuter at email@example.com.
